JIS L 1921 (Test Method for Antifungal Properties of Textile Products)

JIS L 1921 (Test Method for Antifungal Properties of Textile Products)

This is a test to compare the inhibitory and suppressive effects on mold growth between antimicrobial-treated samples and untreated samples by inoculating the test samples with mold spore suspension, culturing them, and measuring the ATP levels before and after culturing. This can be conducted on absorbent samples such as fiber products and paper. ISO 13629-1 describes a similar testing method. *ATP is a substance synthesized by living bacteria. Arrangements for the testing method are also possible. If you would like to discuss changes to testing conditions, bacterial species, or sample characteristics, please feel free to consult with us.
